Development perspectives
The main objective of Nakhchivan International Airport is to organize qualitative, reliable, comfortable airport services meeting international standards in the field of aviation with staff and technologies rendering services to citizens and environment.
Primary objective emerging in our development perspectives is to become the most leading airports in the world.
Currently, there is high development pace envisdaged in the Airport. In this regard, reforms are being carried out in a number of spheres. These reforms are carried out in the field of human resources, logistics and other filds. Initiated reforms aim at organization of compliance of the airport with international standards in each sphere. From this point, English language training courses arranged for working staff are foreseen to increase the quality ofn services rendered to quests coming to our country or citizens of foreign countries flying with transit.
Currently, Nakhchivan International Airport has cooperation agreements with local companies (“Azerbaijan Airlines” and “Silk Way Business Aviation”) and foreign companies (Turkey’s “AnadoluJet”, Russia’s “Utair”) and the Airport continues to cooperation with those companies rendering services of high quality.
Within short perod of time, Nakhchivan Airport plans to insert new partners to the list of airlines it cooparates with. It is laos foreseen to carry out transit flights.
In general, the Airport has an objective to obtain high development level in the following directions.
